TaskFace does not send your reminders or events to the developer. There is no account and no server. Your data stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
None. No sign-up and no email address are needed. The app does no usage analytics and no advertising measurement.
Within the access you allow, TaskFace reads the reminders on your iPhone and chooses what to show on the watch face. When you add, complete, rename or reorder items in TaskFace, it writes those changes to Reminders (the order is saved as priority).
If you choose to show events, TaskFace reads your calendars. It never writes to your calendars.
This information is sent from your iPhone to your paired Apple Watch through Apple’s WatchConnectivity. Only the titles and times of the few items shown on the watch face are sent, and they never leave your Apple Watch.
“Buy the developer a coffee” is an optional tip. Buying it does not change any feature of the app. Apple handles the payment; the developer never receives your name or payment details. This involves communication with the App Store. The app has no other network features.
Deleting the app removes the display settings and send history it kept on the device. Your reminders and calendars stay in the built-in apps.
